Why You May Need A Skin Detox

If your skin is full of toxins then you probably already know it.

Blocked pores, uneven skin tone and acne are all signs that you should detox you skin.

How to detox your skin

One way to detoxify your skin is by exfoliating. Exfoliating is can also be called dry skin brushing for detox because it removes the dead skin, opens pores and increases the blood flow to the area. All of which will help encourage your body to release the toxins that are built up inside.

When detox skin brushing, use a dry brush in the morning and gently brush the surface of your skin in small circles. A contrast shower is basically alternating hot and cold water. Hot water opens the pores and cold will close them. It is best to wash with a mild soap created for skin cleansing and detox under hot water and follow up with a cool spray to close the pores after.

A skin detox bath taken once a week can also make a big difference to your skin. And as a bonus is a luxurious way to pamper yourself, and who does not want to be pampered?

The first thing you should consider is a full body detox to get rid of the excess toxins before working on the ones in and on your skin. A full body detox followed by a skin detox and a healthy diet will soon have your skin clean, clear and radiant.
