Try the apple cider vinegar diet, also known as, the apple cider vinegar detox if you're ready to detox your body or cleanse.

If you can stomach the sharp bitter taste of apple cider vinegar, this popular detox diet may be for you.

These days the apple cider vinegar detox is one of several well known detox diets that is used for body cleansing or fasting, is gaining in popularity mainly because of its simplicity.

Who would have thought that you could drink a simple ingredient like apple cider vinegar to remove toxins from your body and lose weight at the same time?

I know you are thinking this defies logic.

However, some people live by such a detox program and have reported achieving amazing results from consuming only a few teaspoons of this liquid on a daily basis. Admittedly there remains to be very little scientific evidence to back these claims.

Not any old apple cider vinegar will do. It is recommended that you use all natural 100% organic apple cider vinegar for the best results.

Although, drinking is the preferred consumption method by many, apple cider vinegar supplements in pill or tablet form are gaining in popularity.

The Apple Cider Vinegar Diet Plan

Again, this is the simplest of detox diets. Before each meal, up to 3 times daily, you should consume a teaspoon of organic apple cider vinegar. This direct consumption method is somewhat hard to stomach and should be avoided. As such, I offer two alternative methods:

1. Take apple cider pills or tablets
2. Dilute cider with water or juice before drinking (my preferred method)

We don't recommend this detox diet for the long term because continued use could result in lower bone density and low potassium levels. Apple cider vinegar is known to interact unfavorable with diuretics, laxatives, and some medicines.

As always, we recommend that before you make any dietary changes you should consult your family doctor or primary healthcare physician. In addition, this diet is problematic for people with a diagnosis or history of diabetes and/or heart disease.

Other benefits of apple cider vinegar include increasing your energy, assisting in weight loss, and can be used as a treatment for warts, acid reflux, gout, and diabetes.

We recommend a raw organic apple cider vinegar with "mother" still intact and visible in the container. Mother is the sediment that you can ready see at the bottom of the bottle of apple cider vinegar.
